It is our great pleasure to announce that the 2nd International Conference on Photonics (ICP2011) will be held from October 17 to October 19, 2010 in Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia. ICP2011 is organized by the IEEE Photonics Society Malaysia Chapter. This conference is the continuation of ICP2010 which successfully brought together a cross-disciplinary assembly of worldwide participants.

The main aim of the conference is to bring together theorists and practitioners from academia and industry to present and discuss their research and developmental activities related to photonics. The conference will provide opportunities for the delegates to exchange new ideas and application experiences, to establish research or business relations, and to find global partners for future collaboration.

Prospective authors are invited to submit A4-sized full papers of five (5) pages describing original, previously unpublished and complete work, addressing state-of-the-art research and development in the above areas. Guidelines for online submission and other information are available at the conference website www.icp2011.org .

Authors of accepted papers must guarantee that they will be there to present the papers at the conference. At least one author of each accepted paper must be registered for the conference, for that paper to appear in the proceedings and be scheduled for presentation.
